Our doctors of chiropractic now have the ability to consult with you via telehealth technology. Every patient visit, whether in our office or on a telehealth video call, first starts with an important conversation. This discussion allows our doctor to understand your concerns and explain your best options. By asking key questions via video call, we can help you understand the cause of your pain and guide you to the best options for spine pain relief.
Do I have to be a patient of your office already?
No. Both patients who have been to our office before and patients new to Cole Pain Therapy Group can consult our doctors remotely.
What areas do you serve via telehealth?
Anyone in the United States can access our Memphis doctors via telehealth. Our doctors of chiropractic are licensed by the State of Tennessee and, according to H.R.6074 passed by the US Congress on March 3,2020, not limited to treating only residents of Tennessee.
How would a chiropractor “treat” me remotely?
In the office, our chiropractors provide manual treatments/therapies, prescribe custom exercise, and provide specific self-care advice. Fortunately, telehealth gives you access to the bulk of our treatment offerings. As an added tool, our doctors will email you YouTube video demonstrations of your prescribed exercises/stretches. We are available for follow-up questions and following your response to self treatment.
What does a telehealth visit cost?
Most out of pocket costs is between $50-$150, regardless of health insurance status. Just like an in-person visit at our office, we can give you a quote of what to pay. The price depends both on the time spent on the call, whether or not you are new to the office, and if we are filing insurance on your behalf. Some patient copay amounts are less than $50.
What technology do I need for a telehealth visit?
All you need is a smart phone. There is no need to download any app. You can also use a laptop or desktop browser with a connected web camera. We utilize doxy.me, which is private, secure, and easy to use. For best audio clarity, use earbuds or a headset.
What if I have other questions?
